into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.This unit is designed for certain applications only.
MARSHALLTOWN cannot be held responsible for issues arising from modification. We strongly recommend
this unit not be modified and/or used for any application other than for which it was designed. If you have
any questions relative to a particular application, do not use the machine until you have first contacted
MARSHALLTOWN to determine if it can or should be perfomed on the product.
ALWAYS
• Always study these instructions before operating, and pay attention to all warnings.
• Always inspect the unit carefully before each day's use
• Always allow the lift to reach working room temperature before use (moving a cold unit into a warm
room can cause condensation, which could affect the operation of the winch brake).
• Always be sure the brake drum is clean and dry before operating.
• Always keep the work area free of obstructions.
• Always wear a hard hat and safety glasses when operating this lift.
• Always watch for overhead obstructions when lifting the drywall panel.
NEVER
• Never use the lift for any purpose other than lifting a drywall panel.
• Never lift more than one sheet of drywall at a time. Never lift more than 150 lbs.
• Never use the lift if either crossarm support is not secured by its locking spring tab.
• Never use to lift personnel. Do not climb on, sit, or stand on the lift.
• Never use unit to support ladders or side loads.
