8 ChaNgINg The propellerS
If the rotor blades on the quadrocopter are damaged, they must be replaced.
Proceed as follows:
8A Prior to installation, make sure that you do not mix up the propellers. The quadro-
copter has 4 different propellers, which differ in colour and rotational direction on
the bottom. The orange propellers are in front and the black in the rear.
8B Carefully remove the defective propeller from the shaft.
8C Carefully fit the new propeller on the shaft.
8D Figure 8D shows the quadrocopter from above. The orange propeller with the
number 1 is positioned to the front left; the orange propeller with the number to
is positioned to the front right; the black propeller with the number 3 is positioned
to the rear left; and the black propeller with the number 4 is positioned to the rear
right as viewed in the figure.
Flight direction
The rear side of the quadrocopter is where the battery cable was soldered to the
printed circuit board.
TroUBleShooTINg
Problem: The propellers do not move.
Cause: • The ON/OFF switch is in the "OFF" position.
• The battery is too weak or depleted.
Remedy: • Set the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.
• Charge the battery.
Problem: The quadrocopter stops and descends during flight for no appar-
ent reason.
Cause: • The battery is too weak.
Remedy: • Charge the battery.
Problem: It isn't possible to control the quadrocopter using the remote
control.
Cause: • The ON/OFF switch is in the "OFF" position.
• The batteries were not inserted correctly.
• The batteries do not have enough power.
Remedy: • Set the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.
• Check whether the batteries are inserted correctly.
• Insert new batteries.
Problem: The quadrocopter only turns on its vertical axis or rolls over when
started.
Cause: • Incorrect arrangement of the propellers.
Remedy: • Install the propellers as outlined in the manual.
Problem: The propellers rotated, but the quadrocopter will not lift off.
Cause: • The drive function button is pressed.
Remedy: • Briefly press the drive function button again.
