Operating and warning signals
Testing the radio circuit: Press the test button
for less than 5 seconds. The networked sensors
respond within a max. 15 s with 2-3 short horn
signals at an interval of 2.5 s. The test lasts for 3
minutes. Carry out the test on each sensor in turn.
If one of the sensors does not respond, switch on
the repeater function in one of the intermediate
sensors and repeat the test.
Alarm: If a test alarm is triggered (actuate the test
button for longer than 5 s), an alarm test is initi-
ated in all of the sensors. This test alarm is reset
again automatically after two minutes. If an alarm
is triggered by smoke, all of the networked alarms
will sound their alarms as long as smoke is de-
tected in the measuring chamber of one of the
alarms.
Fault: A measuring chamber or battery fault in
the smoke alarm is signalled in the networked
smoke alarms by two short horn signals.
