The BURNDY® PATRIOT® Series is a Battery Actuated Tool that can be operated with one hand allowing for advance,
retract and hold functions for easier tool operation. The BURNDY® PATRIOT® Series incorporates a high speed
hydraulic pump, generating consistent output forces. This design offers consistent compression connections every
time. It also features a rotatable head design for operation in virtually any position.
The BURNDY® PATRIOT® operates on a standard 18 V Li-ion battery and comes complete with 2 batteries and
battery charger. It is also supplied with a durable carry case to hold the battery and charger, tool, retention lanyard and
this manual.

The BURNDY® PAT644-LI is a nest and indentor tool requiring no dies with fully rotatable head that effectively installs
every connector that the self-contained Y644 series can with the exception of 1000 Kcmil aluminum lugs and splices.

Always make certain that the latch detent pin is completely locked before operating the tool. To remove and install
the tool from a splice connection, open the latch of the tool by pulling on the latch detent pin and pivot the latch open.
Failure to follow this procedure could cause damage to the tool.
