1 Introduction
This quick guide will assist you in starting up the unit. Follow
the safety notices or injury to health or property damage may
occur. Carefully read the original operating instructions in-
cluding information on maintenance and troubleshooting

1.1 Intended use
This unit is intended for industrial use in gas analysis systems.
It's an essential component for conditioning the sample gas to
protect the analysis instrument from residual moisture in the
sample gas.
The device must not be operated in a zone 2, explosion class
IIC (ATEX, IECEx and EAC Ex) explosive gas atmosphere which
is rarely and only temporarily explosive, and in class I, divi-
sion 2 (US & Canada).
Optional installation of various add-on equipment may limit
the area of application of this device.
Coolers with Canada certificate and IECEx
The device must be installed in a lockable IP54 housing.
Coolers with USA certificate
The device must be installed in a lockable IP54 housing suit-
able for one or more class I division 2 wiring methods accord-
ing to National Electric Code (ANSI/NFPA 70).
Coolers with ATEX certificate
The device must be installed in an IP54 rated housing which
meets the requirements of EN 60079-15. The housing must re-
quire a tool which meets the requirements of EN 60079-0 and
EN 60079-15 to open.
Coolers with EAC Ex certificate
The device must be installed in an IP54 rated housing which
meets the requirements of Ghost 14254-2015.
Please note the specifications in the data sheet on the specific
intended use, existing material combinations, as well as pres-
sure and temperature limits.
