The fact that the towing bracket has been mounted to the vehicle must be entered in the
vehicle papers at the next possible opportunity. The mounting instructions must be added to
the vehicle papers.
General Installation Intructions:
If present, remove insulating compound and/or underseal in the area of the towing bracket
contact surfaces. Coat bare bodywork with anti-corrosion paint.
Mount 7-pin electrical system as per DINV 72570.
Mount 13-pin electrical system as per ISO 11446.
Retighten all mounting bolts of the towing bracket after aprox. 1000 towing km. Please note,
that after mounting the drawbar the mass of your vehicle will change.
Mounting instructions:
Remove the bumper.

Cut out the place of the drawhook ball from the lower part of the bumper.

Remove the insert plates from the internal part of the bumper, then mount the drawhook
–
to their place at points „a".
Cut the rear end of the stud of the chassis beam, then push the drawhook (together with
–
the bumper) into stud of the chassis beam.
Fix the drawhook loosely to the stud of the chassis beam at points „b" using the enclosed
–
fixing elements, according to the guidance of the drawing.
Adjust the drawhook and finalise the tightening of the bolts.

By means of opening the rear cable bundle, complete the electrical connections according
–
to the regulations.
Only specialised services are authorised to install drawhooks.
