Installation Guidelines
General Note: Please consult all local plumbing codes before installing Watts
interceptors.
Introduction
Watts hair, sediment and solids interceptors are designed to separate heavier-
than water sediment, or floating debris, such as hair or lint, from plumbing waste
systems. Sediment interceptors trap debris with a combination of screening, and
gravity separation for heavier solids and sediments. Debris accumulates inside the
interceptor, and is periodically removed.
Read this Manual BEFORE using this equipment.
Failure to read and follow all safety and use information can result in death,
serious personal injury, property damage, or damage to the equipment.

Sizing Watts Li Series Interceptors are sized according to flow rate,l or the number of washing machines serviced. There are no sizing requirements for SI Series interceptors. Units are supplied with IPS threaded or no hub inlet and outlet, sized as required.

If recessed in the floor you will need to cut out an area large enough to accommodate the interceptor and the piping lines needed. Interceptor intake should face the last sink or fixture being served. -

Inquire with governing authorities for local installation requirements. Limited Warranty: Watts Regulator CO. (the “Company”) warrants each product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage for a period of one year from the date of original shipment. In the event of such defects within the warranty period, the Company will, at its option, replace or recondition the product without charge. -
