6. Error Messages
The device resets when you turn it on. The display may read "XERR" when there are problems
with one or more channels. "X" stands for channel 1, 2, 5 or 6, depending on the defective
channel e.g. "2Err" is displayed when there is an error in channel 2. If there is an error on
channels 1, 2 & 5 at the same time, you may see the error message "1Err", "2Err","5Err" flash 5
times. The device will then emit a reset signal, thereby resetting all the stepper motors. If the
device remains in error mode after 3 attempts, it will not work if there are at least 3 separate
errors. All channels will stop functioning if this is the case. If there are less than 3 errors the
device can still be operated with exception of those non-functioning channels.
Err : Colour wheel error

This message will appear after the device is reset if the magnetic indexing circuit malfunctions
(sensor failed or magnet missing) or the stepper motor is defective (or its drive circuit on the
main PCB). The colour wheel is not placed in the default position after the reset.
Err : Rotating gobo wheel error

This message will appear after the device is reset if the magnetic indexing circuit malfunctions
(defective sensor or magnet missing) or the stepping-motor is defective (or its drive circuit on
the main PCB). The rotating gobo-wheel is not placed in the default position after the reset.
Err : Pan movement error

This message appears after the device is reset if the magnetic indexing circuit (for left-right
movement) malfunctions (defective sensor or magnet missing) or the stepping-motor is
defective (or its driving IC on the main PCB). The yoke is not placed in the default position after
the reset.
Err : Tilt movement error

This message will appear after the reset of the device if the head's magnetic indexing circuit (for
up-down movement) malfunctions (defective sensor or magnet missing) or the stepping-motor is
defective (or its driving IC on the main PCB). The head is not located in the default position after
the reset.
