INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION
Horizontal Installation
1. Install the unit higher than the water level. If positioned below the surface of the
water, always install a check valve on the air tube.
2. Place the unit horizontally on a stable and level surface. The vibration resistant
rubber feet will prevent the pump from shifting.
3. Route the power connection cable so it forms a drip loop.

1. Keep the air tube as short as possible and lay it where it is well protected.
• Connect the diffuser to the air tube and position the diffuser in the aquarium.
• Attach the free end of the air tube to the air outlet on the unit.

COMMISSIONING/START-UP
NOTE
Never operate an air connection by itself, i. e. without the tube and
diffuser connected.
Switching on the unit
• Connect the unit from the power supply. The unit switches on as soon as the power
connection is established.
Switching off the unit
• Disconnect the unit from the power supply.
Adjusting the air flow and bubble pattern

• Air flow: Adjust the air flow rate by turning
the air control knob.
• Bubble pattern: Take the diffuser out of
the water and adjust the bubble pattern at
the indent on the diffuser using a coin or
flathead. Adhere to the safety instructions!

• Fitting instructions are supplied with the spare part (item number 75730).
