8.2 Use of Soldering Bit

Use of soldering bit⸺select the temperature as low as possible because a too high temperature will weaken the function
of the soldering bit. This soldering bit has an excellent temperature recovery capability, and full soldering is also possible at
a low temperature to protect temperature sensitive components.
Cleaning of soldering bit⸺The soldering bit shall be regularly cleaned with a cleaning sponge. The oxides and carbides
derived from the residual flux on the soldering bit after soldering may damage the bit to cause soldering errors or degrade
the heat conductivity of the bit. When you continuously use the soldering iron for a long time , disassemble the soldering bit
once a week and remove oxides to prevent temperature reduction of the bit due to any damage.
Out of use⸺When not in use, do not keep the soldering iron in a high temperature for a long time; otherwise, the flux on
the soldering bit may be converted into oxides and greatly degrade the heat conductivity of the soldering bit.
After use⸺After use, wipe the soldering bit clean and coat it with new tin to prevent oxidation.

8.3 Maintenance of Soldering Bit

A) Checking and cleaning of soldering bit
Caution:
Do not use a file to remove oxides from the soldering bit.
1 ) The set temperature is 250 ℃ .
2) After the temperature is stable, clean the soldering bit with brass wool or cleaning sponge, and check the
condition of the soldering station
3) If there are black oxides on the tin-coated part of the soldering bit, coat a new layer of tin and wipe the
soldering bit with brass wool or cleaning sponge. Repeatedly clean in this way until the oxides are completely
removed, and then coat a new layer of tin.
4) Always replace the deformed or seriously corroded with a new one.
B) Why it is not allowed to use a " non-wetting " soldering bit?
The " non-wetting " soldering bit cannot be wetted by soldering tin and the exposed tin coating is oxidized to cause
