JUNCTION BOX INSTALLATION
STEP 1:
Remove the lens from the disk light with
the Lens Removal Tool, by working the
tool around the lens using a prying motion
approximately 90 degrees apart. See Figure
1.
STEP 2:
If required from the table above, turn
the mounting bracket into the proper
installation orientation so that the words
"Room Side" on the bracket, faces the
occupied space. Install the mounting
bracket onto the junction box using (2)
supplied 8-32 x 1" screws.
STEP 3:
Connecting the wires (See Figure 2):
• Using a wire nut, attach Black Wire to
black (Line))
• Connect the white junction box wire
(neutral wire) to the white wire of the
disk light using one of the provided wire
nuts.
• Connect the green ground wire from
the disk light to the ground wire in the

junction box using one of the provided
wire nuts. If there is no ground wire
present, connect ground wire of the
disk light to supplied ground screw of
junction box.
STEP 4:
Using the (2) supplied 8-18 x 1/2" screws,
attach the disk light to the junction box (or
to the mounting bracket if installed). Ensure
the trim ring on the light is flush with the
ceiling. See Figure 3.
STEP 5:
Reattach the lens to the disk light by
snapping it back into place. Discard unused
flip clip mount.
NOTE: To remove disk light from junction
box, remove lens and 8-18 x 1/2" screws.

STEP 2:
Attach the flip clip mount to the disk light by
aligning Flip Clip Mount with the disk light
and attach with the (2) supplied
8-18 x 1/2 in. screws. See Figure 4.
STEP 3:
Reattach the lens to the disk light by
snapping it back into place.
STEP 4:
Insert the bare end of the grounding wire
from the disk light into the ground clip and
attach to the edge of the recessed can. See
Figure 5.
STEP 5:
Make wiring connection per the Electrical
Connection section on the last page.
STEP 6:
Reach inside the existing recessed can, and
screw the E26 or GU24 socket adapter into
the female E26 or GU24 socket adapter.
Discard unused 8-32 x 1" screws. See
Figure 6.
