blade holder ( within the cross
hatched area ) , ideally with the
index finger of the right hand
( a ) , and remove the blade with
the thumb and index finger of
the left hand simultaneously ( b ) .

Release the blade holder and al-
low the blade to click into place.
! For safety, shake the blade a
little as a test to ensure that it is
securely attached.

In order to insert a new blade,
use the right index finger to
push on the centre of the blade
holder again ( a ) .
At the same time, use the left
thumb and index finger to push
the blade into the blade holder
until the hole formation on the

Close the blade cover again ( a ) ,
fasten the screw tightly ( b; maxi-
mum torque: 0.5 Nm ) and add a
protective cap.
You need:

blade can no longer be seen ( b ) .
The cutting edge must point in
the direction of the blue dirt con-
trol device, otherwise the blade
cannot be properly inserted.
