First remove the blade ( see the
chapter on changing the blade,
2 to 5 ) .

Now insert the blade ( see also
the chapter on changing the
blade, 6 to 7 ) .

If the old screw is still there, pull
the retainer off by hand and re-
move the screw.

Finally close the blade cover again
( a ) and screw the screws in tightly
( b; maximum torque: 0.5 Nm ) and
add a protective cap.
You need:

Insert the replacement screw
into the screw channel in the
blade cover and fix using a tool.
Use the other hand to push the
retainer onto the screw from the
inside.
Then ensure that the retainer is
attached securely by shaking it
slightly.

After doing this, please check
whether the release and retrac-
tion of the blade are functioning
properly.
