Installing a Radio Piggy-Back in an Inverter
4.
Insert the end of the antenna cable
through the PG opening on the inverter
housing.
5.
Tighten the PG screw fitting from the
interior of the housing with the grooved
ring. Make sure that you tighten the
grooved ring so tightly that the paint on
the enclosure is damaged and thus
contact is made with the bare metal of the
inverter enclosure.
6.
Screw the antenna cable to the antenna
connection of the Radio Piggy-Back (see figure at
right).
7.
Lay the antenna cable as described in the inverter
documentation.
8.
Do not mount any jumpers on the inverter.
9.
Close the inverter as described in the inverter
documentation.
1.1.2 Notes on Installation in SWR Inverters
Implementation of the Radio Piggy-Back with SWR 1500 and SWR 2000 requires
installation of an intermediate adapter (SMA order number: SBEAMPB-ISO-NR).
For safe use of the Radio Piggy-Back in all inverters of type "SWR", the resistors (if
present) attached to the circuit board at the provided Piggy-Back plug-in position must
be removed.
