Before leaving our factory, every machine is thoroughly tested. Follow our instructions strictly and
your machine will give you long service in normal operating conditions.
Before starting up the machine, make sure you read this entire operations manual and are familiar
with the operation of the machine.
1. Check engine oil. Fill to full mark on dip stick with 10W30 oil. DO NOT OVERFILL!!
Gas Models: Class MS, SD, SE or better.
Diesel Models: Class CE or CD
2. Connect battery cables.
3. Electric Models: Verify all electrical connections are intact.
1. Check the engine air cleaner hose clamps. Tighten as required.
2. Tension the blade drive V-belts. DO NOT over tension!!
3. Check the transmission drive chain. DO NOT over tighten!!

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE QUICK REFERENCE:

SERVICE DAILY:
1. Check engine oil level.
2. Check blade guard for damage.
3. Check hoses and clamps for damage.

4. Lubricate bladeshaft bearings.
5. Lubricate front and rear wheel bearings.
6. Check blade drive V-belt tension. DO NOT over
tension!!! Change in sets only!
SERVICE EVERY 50 HOURS:
1. Replace engine oil and filter.
2. Clean engine/motor air fins.
3. Lubricate front axle pivot bearings.
4. Lubricate depth control adjustment screw.
5. Lubricate transmission drive shaft bearings.

PRE OPERATION CHECKLIST
WITH MACHINE COLD AND SETTING LEVEL:
1 - 2 HOUR OPERATION CHECK LIST:
ALWAYS park machine on a level surface with the engine "OFF" and the ignition switch set
in the "OFF" position before performing any maintenance. Let the machine cool down!!

SERVICE EVERY 100 HOURS:
1. Lubricate front axle pivot bearings.
2. Check wheels for wear or damage.
3. Check transmission drive chain and sprockets for
looseness.
4. Check engine air cleaner hose and clamps.
5. Check hydrostatic transmission fluid level.
SERVICE EVERY 500 HOURS:
1. Replace hydrostatic transmission fluid
SERVICE YEARLY:
1. Replace air filter primary and safety elements.
