MX F models;

2.1
Warnings for the installer
Observe the prescriptions contained in this
manual.
The instructions for assembly and dis-
assembly of the appliance are reserved
for specialist technicians only.
The installation and connections to the appliance
must be carried out to a professional standard by
qualified personnel.
Responsibility for the works carried out in the
space of the appliance location is, and remains,
the responsibility of the user; the latter is also
responsible for performing checks regarding the
proposed installation solutions.
The installer must comply with all local, national
and European safety regulations.
The appliance must be installed on floors with
adequate load bearing capacity.
Verify that the chimney flue and air
inlet predispositions conform to the
type of installation.
Do not carry out flying electrical connections
with provisional or not isolated cables.
Check that the earthing of the electrical system
is efficient.
Before starting the assembly or disassembly
phases of the appliance, the installer must
comply with the safety precautions required by
law and in particular with:
• they must not operate in adverse conditions;

• they must operate in perfect psychophysical
conditions and must check that the personal
protective equipment is intact and functioning
perfectly;
• they must wear gloves and safety shoes;
• they must use tools with electrical insulation;
• they must ensure that the area involved in the
assembly/disassembly phases is free from ob-
stacles.

TRAnSPoRTATIon
The appliance is delivered complete with all
the parts required: mounted metal structure
and separate combustion chamber inner lining.
These parts are contained in a packaging suitable
for long distance transportation. It is advisable to
unpack the appliance only when it has arrived at
the installation site.
It is absolutely necessary to move and
unpack the appliance with suitable
means and to check its compatibili-
ty with the room in which it is to be
installed.
Make sure that children do not play with the pack-
aging components (e.g. films and polystyrene):
Danger of suffocation!
During the operations of moving, lifting and
unpacking of the appliance, the following are
absolutely essential:
• always keep it upright;
• never tip it into a horizontal position;
• never tilt it on its front to avoid breaking the
glass.
3.1
Removal of the packaging
Remove the shrink film.
Release the counterweight by removing the
fixing clamps.
Where present, remove from the pallet the pack-
aging containing the parts of the inner lining of
the fire box.
Remove the screws that secure the
feet of the appliance to the pallet (Fig.
2) and remove it.
