3. Assemble the Walls
NOTE: Before proceeding, install the valving in the framing pocket.
Position the walls upright on a clean, flat surface with the flanges mating as shown.
Make sure the walls are both resting flat on the floor.
Clamp the walls together at the top and bottom using C-clamps. Make sure the bottom surfaces are
flush.
Mark the location of the holes on the flange with a felt tip marker.
Drill holes through both flanges with a 5/16" bit at each of the four marked locations.
Remove the clamps and apply a minimum 1/4" (6 mm) bead of mildew-resistant clear 100%
silicone sealant on one of the mating surfaces between the walls.
Reposition the walls together and assemble the bolt, washers, and nut at each location.
Wrench tighten. Do not overtighten.
