2. Operation using the (AC adapter supplied)
The transmitter and the receiver can be operated
on AC mains using the supplied 9V AC adapter.
Connect the output plug of adapter to DC jack of
the transmitter (5) and the receiver (12). Connect the
adapter to the mains.
N.B. : The communication range is longest when the
transmitter is operated on AC mains.

A / Transmitter
• Switch the transmitter on by setting button 2 to VOX (tripped on voice, recommended) or to ON (continuous
operation). The power on indicator (4) will light up green.
• Select either channel 1 or 2 using the Channel Selector Switch 3.
• Place the transmitter about 1 m from the cradle, directing the microphone (6) towards the baby.
• Under VOX mode, once the built-in microphone picks up any sound from the baby, the transmitter will
automatically switches into transmit mode and the transmit indicator (1) lights up. When the baby stop
making sound, the transmitter will return to standby mode and the transmit indicator goes off.
• Under ON (continuous transmission) mode, the transmitter will always transmit no matter the baby is making
any sound or not. This is useful if you want to monitor the slightest sound of the baby. For conventional
supervision, you are advised to use the "VOX" mode.
• The condition of the batteries is shown by the indicator (4). When the batteries are flat, the intensity
fades and becomes red.
B / Receiver
• Set the power ON/OFF switch (9) to ON position to turn on the unit. The power on indicator (7) will light
up green.
• Select the same channel as the emitter using knob 10.
• Place the receiver at a reasonable distance away from the transmitter to avoid feedback. Too close a distance
will create a screeching sound.
• Once the unit receives a signal from the transmitter, the LED of the visual level meter (11) light up. The louder
the baby's voice, the more number of LED will be lighted up.
• The condition of the batteries is shown by the indicator (7). When the batteries are flat, the intensity fades
and becomes red.
NB : If you hear noises other than your baby's, change to another channel both for the transmitter and receiver.
• For more convenience, the receiver
can be carried around using the belt
clip. To remove the clip follow diagram
as shown.
