Step 4 Attach bag compartment

Pull bag door latch forward and
remove door. Set bag door aside.
Step 5 Attach filter bag
Either the reusable cloth bag or the
disposable paper bag that came
with your cleaner can be used.

Push bag firmly onto tube.
Tuck top and bottom of bag into bag
compartment.

Slide large tab (N) on bottom of bag
housing into slot between the brack-
et (O) and the lower handle.

Open bag cap on cloth bag.

To replace bag door, insert the 2 tabs
on bottom of bag door into the 2 slots
on bag compartment.
Make sure all edges of bag are com-
pletely inside the bag compartment.
Close door.

Note round opening and hooks (P)
on back of bag compartment.
Place opening over dirt tube (Q)
and align hooks with slots in handle.
Push very firmly at (R) to snap
hooks into handle.
Pull on bag compartment to make
sure it is completely snapped to
handle.

Align opening in bag with dirt tube (S)
inside bag compartment.

Pull switch lock (T) above ON/OFF
switch (U) straight out.
Dispose of lock.
Note: If lock has come off during
assembly make sure switch is in
the OFF position (down) before
plugging cord into electrical
outlet.
