6 LED lamps indicate which mode is selected. The LEDs are switched
off in default mode to reduce the load on the battery. Battery low:
All 14 LEDs flash with a 0.5 second interval. Please replace the bat-
teries.

4. Replacing the battery
Open the battery compartment cover by pressing the two buttons at the side of
the device and remove the battery compartment. Open the cap and insert two
(LR03 / AAA) 1.5V batteries. Pay attention to the correct polarity of the contacts.
Then close the battery compartment cover.
Caution! Use only new batteries. Do NOT use rechargeable batteries. Test the
device by pressing the centre button of the device until the LED glows in the "ON"
position. You should hear the sound of the motor within 10-15 seconds. Check if
the batteries have been inserted properly if you do not hear any sound.
Set the duration knob to ."OFF" position before connecting by pressing the centre
button repeatedly till the LED switches "Off".
