INTRODUCTION

This handbook must be handed over to the user prior to installation and commissioning of the unit.
The MIG/MAG manual welding torch must be used only for MIG/MAG welding in manual applications.
Uses different from or outside the intended type of application specified for the equipment are
prohibited. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any damages that could arise from such use.
The intended use also includes:
- Following all the warnings described in the operating instructions.
- Carrying out checks and maintenance operations
IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Misusing the equipment and carrying out incorrect operations may cause serious injuries and material
damages.
- All the work involved with installing and uninstalling welding torches must be carried out only by
qualified technical staff,
- Read and understand this document.
- Read and understand all the operating instructions for the components of the system, specially
the safety instructions.
The output from the power supply and the wire electrode can cause serious personal injuries and
material damages.
- Set the main power switch to "O".
- Disconnect the power supply from the mains.
- Make sure that the power supply is always disconnected from the mains until all the installation/
decommissioning work of the torch has been completed.

- All the cables, the wires and the hose assemblies must be securely connected, in good condi-
tions, correctly insulated and adequately sized.

Overheated components of the welding torch and coolant can cause serious burns.
- Before starting to install/decommission the welding torch, allow all the torch components and the
coolant to cool down until the ambient temperature has been reached.

ant pipes of the water cooled welding torches with the plastic cover provided.
