It is possible to charge the fan's battery via USB port or AC/DC adapter (not
supplied); always check that the voltage data on the ID plate of the fan (5Vdc)
corresponds to that of the adapter or computer port.
Use the supplied cable for charging, plug connector "B" to the fan and connector 'A'
into a USB port. The red indicator light will turn on (charging). After about 4-5 hours
(required charging time) the green light will come on indicating that the battery is
charged.
The fan can also be used when connected directly to a computer's USB port or
AC/DC adapter.
USE
Turn the fan on my pressing the On button; it will start at the lowest speed (1). Press
the button repeatedly to select medium speed (2), maximum speed (3), side LED
light (see diagram below) and to turn off the appliance.
To turn on the interior light and hold the (On) button for about 3 seconds to turn off
the light repeat the process in reverse.
You can stop the fan at any time by pressing (OFF).
If the appliance is not being used for long periods of time, remove the battery.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: before performing routine cleaning, remove the battery and the USB
connector from the computer port or the adapter.
To clean use a soft, damp cloth; do not use steel wool or abrasive products.
Do not immerse any part of the fan in water or other liquid: in such an event, do not
place your hand into the liquid but first remove the plug from the plug point. Dry the
appliance thoroughly and check that the electrical parts are dry: if in doubt consult a
qualified professional.
If the appliance is not used for long periods of time, you should store it away from dust
and moisture; we recommend using the original packaging.
If you decide to no longer use the appliance, it is recommended that it is made
inoperative by cutting the power cord and removing the battery, and ensure that any
parts that could represent a risk to playing children are rendered harmless. Used
batteriy must be disposed of at appropriate collection centres at your local authority or
in suitable containers. In this way, local laws will be respected.
Battery disposal must take place in the appropriate containers, dispose of them in
accordance with current regulations.
