Attaching Bicycles
• Start by lowering the holding area for the
bicycles, as described in the chapter on
"Lowering the Bicycle Carrier".
WARNING
Parts on the bicycles that are not screwed
on securely can become detached during
the journey.
Injury to people or damage to property is
possible due to parts flying around.
• Remove all parts that are not secure-
ly connected to the bicycle, e.g. air
pumps, panniers, navigation devices
or batteries.
• Also remove all parts that generate
additional resistance, e.g. such as
luggage baskets and child seats.

NOTE
To improve the handling of your vehicle,
it is best to fit the heaviest bicycle first
Also, if you are fitting only one bicycle, you
should place the bicycle in the rail that is
closest to the rear of the vehicle.
