The device must never be rubbed with non-antistatic fabrics or materials, in order not to electric charge
the exposed surfaces. Be careful when wearing it, placing it on your belt so that rubbing is avoided as
much as possible.
Operators who use M 900 are advised, at any stage of use, to wear antistatic clothing and use non-
sparking tools.
5. MAINTENANCE
The maximum life for an escape respirator is 5 years, as shown on the container label. After changing the
filter, the useful life for the respirator is extended by 5 years. Dispose of the escape respirator after 10 years
(see the production date stamp inside the half-mask).
Respirator maintenance must only be carried out by specialised trained personnel and using only original
Spasciani spare parts. The filter must be changed if:
• The seal is damaged
• The expiry date on the packaging has been exceeded.
Since the devices are disposable, no cleaning is provided. If the need arises to clean the container, use
a damp cloth. Never rub any part of the PPE with wool or non-antistatic cloths.
6. STORAGE
The materials used have excellent anti-age properties. However, it is advisable to store new, packaged
respirators in a well-ventilated storage rooms at normal room temperature. Do not expose them to direct
sunlight or temperatures below -20°C or above +50°C, with humidity than 80%. When carried on a belt,
avoid putting the container in water or exposing it to sources of heat. Prolonged exposure to extreme
temperatures could reduce the product shelf life. It is advisable to keep new devices in their original
packaging during transport and storage, to protect them from shocks and dust. Do not place heavy items on
top of the device because they could damage and deform it.
It is recommended to keep the new devices in their original packaging during transport and storage in
