Not suited for use in barns!
a.) Installation
Place the device onto the moulded pedestal (11); for this, the device is positioned at an angle of 45°. The solar surface
must be oriented towards the sun at all times. An earthing and support rod is available as an accessory from specialist
dealers, under item no. 371022.
b.) Functional check of the appliance
Before use for the first time, the device must be charged for 2 to 3 days in the sun while it is switched off. This is in order
to charge the built-in battery. A mains charger is available as an accessory from specialist dealers, under item no. 371
021. This should equally be used for approx. 12 hours to charge the device. For this, the closing cap (2) must be
removed, and reinserted when the charging process is complete. Start the device without the fencing and earth
connections. If the fencing light (7) flashes green, the device is functioning correctly. If the fencing light (7) does not flash,
or the battery light (6) still flashes red after the charging process, the device must be tested by a specialist.
c.) Functional description with connected fence system ( fence + earth )

If the fence light (7) flashes faster than approx. once per second, the appliance must be disconnected at once and
checked by a technician before it can be used again.
After extended periods of disuse, the device must be switched off and placed in the sun, or charged using the optionally
available mains adapter. The charging device may remain connected during the period of disuse. Regularly clean the
solar surface using a damp cloth. When disposing of the device, the lead gel battery must be disposed of in compliance
with the legal directives.
