NOTE on material damage
− Do not immerse the clock in water or other liquids.
− Never use harsh, scouring or abrasive cleaning agents or the like to
clean the clock. Otherwise, the surface could be scratched.
− Dust the clock if necessary with a soft, dry cloth. The glass can also be cleaned with
commercially available glass cleaners.
Fault/Remedy
Fault
The DCF77 signal for the time
cannot be received.
Temperature indication appears
too high.
The indicator is illegible, the
function is unclear, or the values
are obviously false.
The time differs exactly by one or
two etc. hours.
The display shows "HH" or "LL"
instead of measured temperature
values.
Humidity indication "19% RH" or
"96% RH" appears permanently on
the display.
The alarm clock didn't ring.

Possible cause
Check the chosen location.
Start the signal reception manually, if
necessary.
Adjust the time manually.
Check if the clock is exposed to direct
sunlight.
Reset the clock to defaults.
You have probably set an incorrect time
zone.
The values lie above or below the
measurement range.
The values are below the measurement
range.
Did you activate the correct alarm time?
Check whether the wake-up day and
setting ("M-F", "S-S" or "M-S") match.
