Assemble components
A. Make sure the spring is in the correct
position.
B. Use Loctite 242 on the pawl screws.

C. Torque to 60 in-lbs. (6.8 Nm).

Install starter cover.
A. Pull out cord 4-6" (10-15cm).
B. Slowly release while placing cover to
allow pawls to engage.

Install starter cover screws.
A. Use Loctite 242.

B. Torque to 60 in-lbs. (6.8 Nm).
