ATTENTION
In order to avoid operational problems, utmost cleanliness
is vital for all check and maintenance work.
Even the finest contamination in the hydraulic system can
cause severe faults; therefore, the system is fitted with a
hydraulic oil filter.
The oil level must be between MIN and MAX in the sight
glass.
Refill hydraulic oil.
Oil grade: Refer to chapter "Technical data"
Note
Missing hydraulic oil can only be topped up with a spe-
cial accessory, which is connected to the leakage cou-
pling of the vehicle. If necessary, enquire order number
from Kärcher or have the filling process performed by
the Kärcher customer service
WARNING
Risk of burns!
Do not open or touch the radiator or parts of the cooling
system while the motor is hot.
CAUTION
Only top up coolant when the engine is cool.
Use a water and antifreeze mixture to refill.
Do not mix different antifreeze types.
Use only soft water for the water and antifreeze mix-
ture.
10.4.12.1 Check coolant level
1 Cover
2 Marking upper coolant level
3 Coolant expansion tank
4 Marking lower coolant level
Check filling level while the motor is cold.
Remove left lateral cowling.
Check the filling level in the coolant expansion tank.
Note
The correct coolant level is between the upper and the
lower marking.
Note
If the coolant expansion tank is completely empty, refill the
radiator first. See Chapter "Refilling coolant in the radia-
tor".
