INSTALL HITCH NUT —
ATTACH BASE TO HITCH.
Slide the nut
housing into the
end of the carrier.
The hole in the hitch
must align to the hole in
the carrier base.
SLIDE THE MAST ASSEMBLY
ONTO THE ARM.
TIGHTEN LARGE
WING BOLT.
Tape the hat cap onto
the end of the pivot pin.
INSTALL THE
PIVOT PIN.
You may need to
wiggle the mast so
that the holes can
align.
STABILIZE THE PIN WHILE
INSTALL THE
INSTALLING THE CAP.
HAT CAP.
INSERT hitch bolt and washer
from RIGHT TO LEFT.
TIGHTEN the bolt.
• Brace the head of the
pin with a hammer or
heavy tool.
• With a mallet or
hammer, hit the hat cap
hard against the pin.
SECURE hitch bolt
with safety clip.
CLOSE THE GATE.
There should be an audible "click"
as the gate snaps into the base.

BE SURE THE CAP IS ATTACHED
SQUARELY ONTO THE PIN!
OK
It may take a few good hits to get
the cap to seat properly.
