CRADLES HAVE A FRONT AND BACK.
The smooth
depression on
the right front
side must face
TOWARD you.
SECURE THE CRADLES TO THE MAST.
Insert the screwand washer
(right to left) into the
rounded depression on the
underside of the cradle.
POSITIONING THE CRADLES: You may want to adjust the cradles
once the bikes are loaded.
ATTACH CRADLE STRAPS.
Be sure strap is
hooked onto cradle.
HOOK STRAPS OVER THE
BIKE'S TUBE.
Be sure the straps are secured
onto cradle hooks.
Push the
cradles onto
the mast by
flexing the
cradle upward.
Attach nut...
LOAD YOUR BIKE.
Nest the bike's
top tube into
the first
cradle.
CHECK THE CRADLES!
Grab close to the bar with
Straps can be
routed between the
cables and the tube.
TIGHTEN IF THERE IS ANY
Push the metal
button to allow
installation.
Use a flathead screwdriver.
TIGHTEN EACH
CRADLE
CAREFULLY.
both hands.
MOVEMENT.
The cradle with
YAKIMA should
go on last, with
the YAKIMA
facing out.
The last cradle must be
behind the metal button.
Tighten the screw!
Load bikes in
opposite directions.
You may want to
loosen the cradles and adjust bike
spacing.
Don't forget to tighten
the bolts again!
U-LOCK
®
USERS:
THE "U" MUST
STRADDLE THE
FIRST BIKE'S TUBE.
NOTE:
With first bike locked, all
other bikes are secure.
