INSTALL HITCH NUT —
ATTACH BASE TO HITCH.
Slide nut housing
into end of
carrier.
The hole in hitch
must align to hole
in carrier base.
LOCK THE
SLIDE MAST ASSEMBLY
CARRIER TO THE
ONTO ARM.
VEHICLE.
Insert the key, lock
the hitch lock.
Close the lock cap.
TIGHTEN LARGE
INSTALL HAT CAP.
WING BOLT.
Tape hat cap onto end
of pivot pin.
LARGE BOLT AND
LOCK-WASHER.
Use a 7/8 or
15/16 inch
socket
wrench and
TIGHTEN.
INSTALL PIVOT PIN.
You may need to
wiggle mast so
holes can align.
STABILIZE PIN WHILE INSTALLING CAP.
• Brace head of pin with
a hammer or heavy tool.
• With a mallet or
hammer, hit hat cap
hard against pin.
HITCH LOCK
SECURES THE BOLT.
Loop the bolt
and fold the lock
onto the bolt.
CLOSE GATE.
There should be an audible "click" as
gate snaps into base.

FRONT VIEW
BE SURE CAP IS ATTACHED
SQUARELY ONTO PIN!
OK
It may take a few good hits to get
cap to seat properly.
