Use the blade scraper to clean the soil residues
which obstruct the blade.

Maintenance

When the product need to be stored for some time, you
need carry out some maintenance work.
Lubricate the cutter head. Refer to
on page 11
Clean the air filter.
Drain the fuel tank before storage.
Lubricate the cylinder.
Clean the air filter.
Drain the residual fuel from the tank of the
carburettor.
Lubricate the unpainted parts.
Lubricate the parts where the zinc-plating has worn
out.
Blow the product with compressed air if parts got wet
during the work.
Do not use water jet pumps.
Do a check of the engine oil level at intervals of
every 8 operation hours.
Clean the air filter every 4 hours. The interval can be
shortened if the product is used in very dusty areas.
Do not use the engine by force.
Slow the engine down when the smoke is released
from the exhaust.

To clean the head

Clean thoroughly the head of the cutter after each work.
1. Tilt the product forward and place it slowly on the
ground.
2. Remove all grass and dirt residues and then blow it
with compressed air.

To stop the product

1. Switch off the engine.
2. Push the gas lever to STOP position.
