the eyes, also consult a doctor. Leak-
ing battery fluid can cause skin irrita-
tion or burns.
– Fluid may leak out of a faulty battery
pack and contaminate neighbouring
objects. Check the parts affected.
Clean them by soaking up the fluid us-
ing dry kitchen towel and then rinsing
with plenty of water. Wear protective
gloves to avoid contact with the fluid.
Replace the parts if necessary.
– Do not use damaged or modified bat-
tery packs. Battery packs which are
damaged or which have been modified
may exhibit unpredictable behaviour
which could lead to fire, explosion or
