Charger for Additional Handsets
The charger cradle can be installed on a flat surface or mounted on the wall. It must
be connected to an AC power outlet.
There are two battery charge icons in the lower left corner of the charger cradle. The
light under the icon on the right indicates whether the cordless handset's batteries
are being charged. It should be ON when charging.
Note: The battery charge icon lights may turn OFF periodically during charging. This
is normal.
Charger Reserve Compartment
You may purchase two spare AA rechargeable Ni-MH
R + +
batteries and store them in the charger reserve
compartment in the back of the charger cradle. The "R" on the left icon on the
charger cradle stands for "Reserve." The light under this icon indicates whether the
batteries in the charger cradle's spare battery compartment are charging.
DO NOT use non-rechargeable batteries. When you replace the batteries, replace
both batteries.
Optional Headsets
A headset with a 2.5 mm plug can be purchased separately and used with the
handset. Plug the headset into the socket on the side of the cordless handset.
