IN AUTOMATIC MODE, THE VERTICAL UP AND DOWN
BEAMS ACT LIKE A PLUMB LINE.
AUTOMATIC HORIZONTAL OPERATION
Switching on
- Press the I/O button
- The green light to the left of the key will flash.
- When the instrument is self-levelling, the green LED
stays on continuously and the laser beam rotates con-
tinuously.
TILT function to signal unwanted movement
of the instrument
- Press the TILT/SLOPE button.
- The green LED to the left of the key will light up.
- After 15 seconds, if the instrument is inadvertently mo-
ved, the LED to the left of the TILT/SLOPE button will
flash, the beam will stop, and after 10 seconds the in-
strument will turn off.
SPEED function
- With the instrument switched on and self-levelling:
- Press the SPEED button successively to select the speed:
600/300/0 rpm.
- With the beam fixed, to move the beam step by step
clockwise or counter-clockwise, press the keys
- To switch to Scan mode, press the SPEED button until
the beam stops, then press SCAN/CAL.
SCAN function to focus the beam tracking
along a defined path.
- With the instrument turned off, press I/O
- Let the instrument self-level
- When the self-levelling laser point is at 0 rpm, press the
SCAN/CAL button successively to obtain the scan angle:
10°/30°/60°.
- To rotate the scan angle, press the keys
ned section moves clockwise/counterclockwise.
MANUAL HORIZONTAL OPERATION
Activating the manual mode
- Switch on the instrument by briefly pressing the I/O key
and let the instrument level itself automatically.
- Press the MAN key
- The green LED to the right of the MAN key will light up.
- The manual function is activated.
SPEED function
- Press the SPEED key successively to select the speed:
600/300/0 rpm.
