Y-axis: press the buttons to bring the laser to the
average inter-axis height between "A" and "B".
6. Press the SCAN/CAL button again to save the
adjustment data; the calibration is completed and the
instrument turns off.
NOTES :
- At a distance of 20 m, every 5 key presses, the laser
beam moves up or down 1 mm.
- After calibration, it is necessary to perform the hori-
zontal check again to be sure of the accuracy. If the
error persists, repeat the calibration procedure.
- During calibration, the flashing of the axis LED indica-
tes that the instrument is calibrating the axis corre-
sponding to the LED.
- During calibration, the SCANNING/TILT/SLOPE/ SPOT-
TING/ SPEED functions cannot be activated and exe-
cuted.
- During calibration, pressing the power button exits the
calibration phase, but the data is not saved.
Vertical control (Z axis)
1. Place the instrument between two walls about 10 m
apart so that the instrument is facing about 0.5 m
towards one wall and the point emitted from the top
reaches the other wall.
2. Turn on the instrument after self-levelling, mark the po-
sition of the top point on the wall with "A" and mark the
position of the point emitted from the bottom side with
"B".
3. 3. Turn and move the unit to point "A" at 0.5 m from the
wall. After self-levelling, adjust the height of the unit
until the point emitted by the lower side reaches point
"A" and the point emitted by the upper side reaches the
other wall. Mark this point with a "C". If the distance
between points "B" and "C" does not exceed 4 mm, the
accuracy is correct.
4. If the difference between the two points is more than 4
mm, vertical calibration is necessary
Z-axis calibration (vertical)
1. With the power off, press the SCAN/CAL and ON/OFF
keys simultaneously.
