4. Adjust the position until the correct position is reached
and centre it on the screen. Mark the height detected
on the wall by the receiver with a "B".
5. If the distance between points "A" and "B" does not
exceed 3 mm, it is not necessary to adjust the instru-
ment.
6. If the distance between "A" and "B" exceeds 3 mm, it is
necessary to calibrate the instrument as described in
the next paragraph.
7. The procedure for checking Y1 and Y2 is similar to that
for the X axis: only replace X1 with Y1 and X2 with Y2
in the direction of the wall.
Horizontal calibration (X and Y axis)
Purpose: to bring the laser beam to the equidistant dimen-
sion between the two marks "A" and "B".
You can use the laser keypad or the remote control to per-
form the calibration.
1. With the power off, press the SCAN/CAL and ON/OFF
keys simultaneously; release the ON/OFF key and hold
down the SCAN/CAL key:
a. The X-axis LED flashes green.
b. After 3 seconds, the Y-axis LED flashes green once.
c. Afterwards, the X-axis LED remains constantly green.
d. Release the SCAN/CAL button
2. When the power LED flashes green, the unit starts to
level.
3. When self-leveling is complete, the X-axis LED and po-
wer LED are green and steady, the rotor starts to rotate
and emit the laser beam.
4. At this point you can start calibrating the instrument
along the X-axis: by pressing the keys
the laser to the intermediate height between "A" and
"B". Caution: the instrument must be in the self-level-
ling phase; all indicators of the self-levelling phase
remain active.
5. After calibrating the X-axis, press the SCAN/ CAL but-
ton again to proceed to calibration along the Y-axis:
a. the Y-axis LED will flash green
b. the instrument starts self-levelling
c. once self-levelling is complete, the Y-axis and ignition
LEDs will remain permanently green.
d. you can start calibrating the instrument along the
keys, bring
