Cleaning the fi lters
It is recommended to clean the fi lters every two weeks. If the indoor air quality is
poor, the fi lters should be cleaned more often. If the fi lters are clogged with dust, the
performance of the appliance will be impaired. Follow the cleaning procedure below:
• Take out both air inlet
grilles in the direction
shown in the fi gure (start
with the lower one) and
remove the fi lter screens.
• Clean the fi lters with a
soapy solution of clear
warm water (approx.
40 °C) and a neutral
detergent. Then leave
the fi lter to dry in a cool
place.
• After the fi lters have
dried, put them back into
the appliance.
• Reconnect the appliance and restart the appliance.
If the fi lter is not too dirty, simply use a
vacuum cleaner to remove the dust.
Notes on cleaning the fi lters
• Do not use water that is too hot for cleaning the fi lter (optimum is approx. 40 °C)
and no aggressive cleaning agents (such as alcohol, petrol, benzene, etc.).
• To avoid deformation of the fi lter, keep cleaned fi lters away from heat sources and
place them in a dry place for air drying.
• Never operate the appliance without the fi lter.
If the fi lter is dirty, clean it with clear
and warm water (40 °C).
