Scope of supply
1x heatable passenger seat, complete
1x holder for heater switch
1x heater switch
1x lock nut
NOTE
The heated front rider's seat (61407940000) is needed for the pas-
senger seat function.
The seat heating function must be
activated following mounting using the KTM diagnostics
tool. Have this work performed in an authorized KTM
workshop.
Preliminary work
- Take off the passenger seat (see the Owner's Manual).
- Take off the front rider's seat (see the Owner's Manual).
Preassembly
- Mount heater switch in holder
switch setting 0).
- Mount lock nut (included) and tighten.
Assembly
- Remove screws .
- Pull out activated charcoal fi lter
- Slip out wiring harness for passenger seat heating
NOTE
The wiring harness is attached to the main wiring harness using
cable ties. Remove this beforehand and secure the remaining cable
again using cable ties.
- Slip out wiring harness for heater switch
and expose.
