1. Installation
1.1 Positioning the appliance

The appliance can be installed directly against a wall provided that the
wall materials or wall finish (panelling, etc.) can withstand temperatures
of up to 150 °C, otherwise leave a minimum clearance of 5 cm.
Install the appliance under an extractor hood or other extraction
system to remove vapours and fumes emitted during use.
Install a thermal-magnetic switch with RCCB (not supplied) on
the wall.

Appliance installed on optional base unit: tighten the feet
fully down under the base; level by means of the lower section
of the feet.
Stand-alone installation (not side-by-side con-
figurations): replace the feet (supplied with the
base unit) with the flanged feet supplied on request
(use the flange as a template when drilling the
floor). After levelling, secure the feed by means of
expansion plugs.
• Refer to the general warnings in Chapter 5, Section 1 of the
manual A;
• To access the terminal block, open the control panel as described
in following point 1.3;
• Feed the cable from the main switch through the cable gland and
connect to the terminal block as shown in the wiring diagram.
• The wall-mounted main switch must be 3-pole with adjustable
RCCB and adjustable sensitivity I ∆ n .
The power supply cable must be resistant to oil and must have
characteristics at least type H05 RN-F (245 IEC 57) and insulation
able to withstand a temperature of at least 90 °C.
The wires must be fixed with the cable gland and protected as far as
the wiring terminal blocks with the fibreglass braid supplied.
Equipotential connection
• The equipotential bonding terminal ( ) is located in the vicinity of
the terminal block.
Operating voltage
• The appliance is supplied set to operate at 400 V TPN (see wiring dia-
gram in appendix); if required it can be converted at 230 V TPE, or
230V 1NE as shown in the diagram on the left :
