3. Optional Install For Overlapping A Dishwasher
K-3326 Models Only
CAUTION: Risk of personal injury or product damage. Large
sinks are very heavy. Get help lifting the sink.
NOTE: The following steps describe the installation of K-3326 in a
36" cabinet overlapping a 24" dishwasher.
Complete the installation steps found within the "Install the Sink"
section through bracket assembly. Do not tighten the brackets at
this time.
If room is available behind the dishwasher, attach a board to the
back finished wall under the sink. Attach at least one of the
supplied brackets to this board securing the back edge of the
washboard.
Do not rest the sink directly on the dishwasher. A gap between
the bottom of the sink washboard and the top of the dishwasher
should be present.
Securely attach a 1 x 2 or other block of wood (sufficient to
support the weight of the sink, countertop and objects placed on
the sinktop) to the wall or end board adjacent the dishwasher.
This will supply support for the edge of the washboard.
Select a screw length long enough to go through the support
block and into the sink frame. Make sure the screw length will
not puncture the top surface of the sink.
