Fasteners installation – Feed coiled end of pull wire ⑤ into rearward hole in the frame rail and out the access hole. Feed the spacer ② on to the pull wire ⑤ then attach the carriage

bolt ①. Feed the spacer ② and carriage bolt ① into the frame rail and out the rearward hole. Leave pull wires attached. Repeat the process to the forward hole, both sides. Leave
pull wires attached.
Hitch installation - Raise the hitch into position, slide hitch over drivers side exhaust first. Feed pull wires previously installed through bracket slots. Remove pull wires and loosely

install conical washer ③ and hex nut ④ to the hitch. Hand tighten both sides. Check to assure hitch is even and centered on vehicle.

Tighten all 7/16-14 GR5 fasteners with torque wrench to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M)
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or
ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
