described in your car radio's operating instructions for CDC
mode.
The CD-changer's disc change function corresponds to the
playlist change function.

1. This iPod interface is compatible with the following
commercial Blaupunkt car sound systems:
Alicante MP36, Bahamas MP46, Bermuda MP36, Bristol
CD36, Calgary MP36, Daytona MP26 , Essen MP36, Key
West MP36 , Kiel CD36, Laguna CD36, Malaga CD36,
Maui MP36, Milano MP26, Orlando MP46, San Remo
MP26, Santa Cruz MP36, Sevilla MP36, Valencia MP36,
Vancouver CD36.
2. The interface ships with the „Basic" version of the soft-
ware. This ensures that the following will be displayed on
the car stereo (depending on stereo and menu settings)
CD No., Track No., Time. on the iPod display: Title, Artist,
Track No., Playlist No.
3. To ensure display on the iPod display, users must create
their own playlists (1-9).
With the "Basic" version of the software, it is possible to
realize up to 9 playlists with up to 99 tracks each.
Playlist no. 1 automatically fi les all of the tracks existing
on the iPod (iPod function).
Safety notices
Please read the following notes carefully before connect-
ing your interface.
The battery's negative terminal must be discon-
nected while the assembly and connecting work is
being carried out.
The vehicle manufacturer's safety notes (regarding the air-
bag, alarm equipment, on-board computer, immobilizer and
so forth) must be observed.
Installation note
Connect the connecting cable to the C3 terminal area (see
Fig. 1).
Use the radio's or navigation system's installation instructions
to check how the contacts are assigned before installing.
If necessary, plug in cables or reconnect them elsewhere
as needed.
Blaupunkt can accept no liability for faults resulting from
inadequate examination of the connection method or pin
assignment.
Road safety
Road safety has utmost priority.
You should therefore always use your car radio equipment in
such a way that you remain alert to the current traffi c situa-

tion.Remember that if you are moving at 50 km/h, then you
will cover 14 m in one second.
We advise against making any adjustments in critical situ-
ations. It must be possible to hear warning signals from,
for instance, police or fi re service vehicles promptly from
within the vehicle.
You must therefore only listen at a suitable volume when
travelling.
Disposal of old unit (EU countries only)
Do not dispose of your old device in the household trash!
Use the return and collection systems available to
dispose of the old device.
