• Switch off the Filter-Table using the motor protection switch and remove the filter
elements (see also filter change).
• Connect the Filter-Table to the mains supply (pay attention to the specification plate).
• Turn the Filter-Table on and off quickly using the motor protection switch.
Observe the impeller rotation as it runs down, it should rotate in a clockwise direction.
If the rotation direction is wrong then an authorised electrician should change over the
phases in the connecting plug (only applicable with the 3 phase tables!).

• Replace the filter elements into the Filter-Table (see the description below).
The Filter-Table is now ready for use.
E. Filter change
• Switch the filter unit off using the motor protection switch
• Open the housing door.
• Remove the Aluminium weave pre-filter, this filter only needs to be replaced in the
event of any mechanical damage or if the extraction performance drops drastically.
• Replace the new filter with a new one. The main filter cannot be cleaned, no
attempts to clean the filter by means of beating it or use of air pressure are to be
avoided
• Harmful substances will be released into the atmosphere and possibly contaminate
the area and is a potential danger to health!
• If required the active charcoal filter (an optional accessory) must also be changed.
The durability of the active charcoal filter cannot be predetermined as it is dependant
on the individual operation of the unit, therefore as a rule this filter should be
exchanged when welding fumes escape from the clean air exhaust or when the main
filter is exchanged at the latest.
