• Always read the instructions carefully before using your appliance for the first time :
this product has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial use,
inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts
no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply.
• This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• Check that the voltage of your appliance corresponds to your domestic power supply.
The guarantee will not be valid if the power supply is not connected correctly or the
appliance is improperly handled.
• Never touch moving parts. (fig. 2).
• Never touch the blender base blade when the appliance is plugged in.
• Always unplug the appliance before assembling or dismantling it or touching the base
(fig 3).
• Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use.
• Never open the base unit. Only carry out normal cleaning and maintenance routines.
• Do not use your appliance if the power cord or the plug is damaged. To avoid all
possible danger, have them replaced at an approved service centre (see list in the
service booklet).
• For your own safety, only use accessories and spare parts which are suitable for your
appliance.
• Always lift the 150ml mini-chopper blades out by the support before emptying the
bowl.
• Do not run the blender (c) or the mini-chopper (e) in an empty container.
• Do not use the blender with dry ingredients (walnuts, hazelnuts, sugar, ice cubes, hard
spices, etc.).
• Do not use the mini-chopper for storage and never pour boiling liquid into it.
