How to clean the purifi er plate
Unplug unit. (1) Remove
the back panel screws
and (2) back panel.
(3 - 5) Remove the
purifi er plate from its
slot. (6) Clean purifi er
plate by wiping with
a cotton swab dipped
in denatured alcohol.
Allow purifi er plate to
dry completely before
reinstalling.
How to disassemble your S140UV for cleaning
Unplug unit. (1) Remove back
cover. (2) Remove Glaziar PCO
TM
Technology Cell (see REPAIR
AND UPKEEP).
(3) Remove purifi er plate (see
REPAIR AND UPKEEP). (4) Remove
the four front grill screws and the
front grill. You can now access the
inside of the unit and the fan for
cleaning.
CAUTION:
Always unplug the power cord from the back of your S140UV before servicing.
Removing cover may expose ultraviolet light source. To protect against eye
damage, always unplug before servicing.
