Remove the foam support and set aside for later reinstall.

Remove the aluminum bumper beam by removing the (8) M8 bolts.

Trim center of bumper cover. (See figure 2.)

Trim center of plastic underbody panel. (See figure 3.)

Raise hitch and bumper beam into position and secure to vehicle using M8 bolts. Tighten all M8 bolts to specified torque.
11.
Reinstall bumper cover and foam support by reassembling parts in reverse order.
Note: Ensure to plug in back-up sensor wiring.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to
prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working
beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
