PROBLEM
there are leaks underneath
the handle
indicator light is �ashing
indicator light is not blinking
indicator light is not working
when new battery is installed
chlorine taste and odor in the
product water
water dispenses very slowly
�ttings are leaking
no water dispensing from
system
there is a low �ow of water
CAUSES
the bonnet nut has come loose and the
o-ring on the cartridge is dirty or damaged
six months usage has occurred
this is the maximum life of the �lter canisters
normal operation
battery may need to be replaced
battery may have been installed incorrectly or
wire not connected
the �lter canisters are no longer reducing
chlorine taste and odor from the water supply
the �lters have been installed for too long
the �lter canisters have become clogged
�lter not installed fully
tubing may not be installed properly
�lter canisters not fully installed
the �lter washer in the hose connectors is
dirty
SOLUTION
- tighten the bonnet nut. Clean or replace the o-ring
- if double �ash, replace �lters
- If single fading �ash, replace �lters and batteries
- does not blink until 6 months of operation has passed
- normally the light is not on the light blinks every 20
seconds to indicate a �lter change is needed this
occurs about every 6 months
- replace battery and press reset button for 5 seconds
indicator will light to indicate proper installation and
operation timer is reset for 6 months
- observe battery orientation markings on the holder
- ensure wire is connected from control valve to timer
box
- press reset button for 5 seconds to reset timer
indicator will light and timer is reset for 6 months
- replace the �lter canisters
- a six-month change-out period is recommended
- replace both �lter canisters
- high sediment levels can cause premature clogging
replace both �lter canisters
ensure �lter is fully installed, label should be centered
and facing forward
- fully follow the installation instructions and be sure
the tubing is free of nicks, burrs, etc., and is installed to
the proper depth
fully follow the �lter replacement instructions
Turn o� the water supply at water valve and unscrew
the hose connectors from water supply lines. Clean the
�lter washer in the water lines with hot water, removing
any debris or calcium build up.
