During no load operation of generator set, the cylinder temperature drops to the
point which the fuel could not burn completely, causing fuel wetting and white smoke.
It is recommended to shorten the no-load operation time and run the generator set at
1/4 to 3/4 loads.
The generator set is rated at the standard barometric pressure, humidity and
temperature (Please refer to ISO3046). Either low barometric pressure (high altitude)
or high ambient temperature will decrease the power of the generator set.
The power of the alternator is subject to reduction of 3% for every 500 meters by
which the operating altitude exceeds 1000meters above mean sea level. The power
of the alternator is subject to reduction of 3% for every 5℃ by which the operating
ambient temperature exceeds 40℃.
Requirement for operating in an ambient exceeding 60℃ must be referred to the
factory.
3.7 Engine Stopping
3.7.1 Emergency Stopping
Push the emergency stop button in the event of an emergency. The generator set
will not start when the button is locked. Turn the button clockwise in order to reset.
Emergency stop button is only for emergency situation. Do not use the emergency
stop button for normal stopping procedure.
Do not start the engine until the problem necessitating the emergency stop has
been found and corrected.
3.7.2 Manual Stop Procedure
Due to individual applications, the control systems are different. Ensure
understanding the shutoff procedures. Use the following general guidelines to stop the
generator set.
1) Disconnect all electrical loads. Run the generator set without load and cool down.
