b) Have one rescuer straddle the stretcher and support the patients head, neck and
shoulders.
c) Grasp foot straps of the stretcher and slide it under the patient.
d) Lay the patient at the centre of the stretcher and fasten straps to buckles.
(C)How to position and fasten straps to buckles
a) Unroll the strecher and lay flat.
b) Lift sides of the stretcher and fasten the four cross straps to buckle directly opposite
the straps.
c) At the end of the stretcher there will be a few unused metal rings, which can be used
for fixing the bells for immobilization..
d) Buckle the straps of the stretcher in proper manner.
(D) Lifting operations and positioning on the
ground
Two nylon belts are used for anchoring and transport
of the stretcher. The belt to be used for the upper part (head)
is about 10 cm shorter than the one used for the lower
Part (feet)
a) Insert one end of head strap through lift slot at the
head end of stretcher.
b) Bring the straps under stretcher and through lift,
slot on opposite side of stretcher.
c) Make sure the two ends of the belt are equally long and
repeal the operation at the other end of the stretcher.
d) Make sure the four ends of the two belts are equally long and
fix them to connector.
E ) Vertical lift
Use the supplied rope length of 9 meter with figure
of 8 knot in the centre.
a)Pass each end of the rope through grommets at the
head of the stretcher. Pull the knot up against the
stretcher.
b)Continue feeding rope through unused grommets and
carrying handles all the way to the foot end of
stretcher. Ensure both ends of the rope are even.
c)Pass the rope ends through grommets at the foot
end of stretcher from the inside outward. Tie
the ends of the rope together with a square knot.
d)Bring ends of the rope up over the end of the stretcher.
Pass through carrying handled and secure with a square
knot safely each side with an over hand knot.
